Terms of Service for Altrotemp Monitoring Platform

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and using the Altrotemp platform (the «Service») at at.sighums.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. This Service is operated by Sighums. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Altrotemp provides an IoT-based monitoring solution for temperature and humidity. The Service includes access to dashboards, data storage, alarm notifications, and device management tools.

3. User Accounts and Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (including OAuth2 logins via Google/other providers).
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Sighums is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account information.

4. Proper Use of the Service

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
• Attempt to interfere with the proper working of the platform or bypass any security measures.
• Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code (viruses, malware).
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Altrotemp platform.

5. IoT Device Data and Ownership

• The data collected by your thermohygrometers is yours. However, you grant Sighums a license to host, store, and process this data to provide the Service.
• You are responsible for ensuring that the installation and use of the monitoring devices comply with local regulations.

6. Service Availability and Limitation of Liability

• While we strive for 99.9% uptime, Sighums does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
• In no event shall Sighums be liable for any direct, indirect, or incidental damages resulting from the use or inability to use the monitoring service (e.g., loss of perishable goods due to network failure).

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or if the commercial relationship between you and Sighums/Altrotemp ends.

8. Modifications to Terms

Sighums may update these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through a notification in the app.
